Fall is definitely one of my favourite seasons. As is all self respecting basic girls favourite season. But Pumpkin Spice Lattes just don't do it for me. I love the combination of the crisp air and warm sunny days. I love all the fun things to do in this season. I also love the food because HELLO, THIS IS THE MONTH OF THANKSGIVING DINNERS, PEOPLE.
This year was the first ever Abby Roadside Harvest Social and The Reach Gallery was asked to participate in creating a scarecrow that represented the gallery for Scarecrow Row.
Picasso the Scarecrow, aka my bae and my creation with the help of the wonderful Alisha.
A few weeks later, on Thanksgiving Day, I went back to Abby Roadside with my good pals Britt & Isaac and Tori & Janver (5th wheeling it wasn't bad at all!)
The boys led the way, making sure to follow the map. We then realized that following the map exactly meant being able to do the most difficult course in less than half an hour.
Blessed to have these womenfolk in my life.
I was really quite proud of my homemade pumpkin pie from scratch. Even if I loathe making pie crust from scratch.
Fast forward a week or two, when my sisters and Mom and I went to our favourite pumpkin patch at Willow View Farms! Not only do they have an amazing pumpkin collection, they also have the BEST apple cider in town!
"He's got a good handle but he's a little dirty." - me
"It sounds like a dating profile." - Tori
I died a little.
The apple orchards at Willow View have an insane variety of apples to choose from and you can even pick some for yourself while you're there!
October was filled with all the best things and I can't wait for next year.
